About Big Sister

Big Sister is a bold new initiative investing in ambitious Registered Managers across the UK care sector. We offer 50/50 partnerships that provide operational, financial, and strategic support to help care businesses succeed. With an experienced team behind the scenes and a powerful brand presence, Big Sister is on a mission to launch over 100 thriving care companies by Year 3.

We’re now looking for an exceptional Project Marketing Manager to help make that vision a reality.

The Role

This is a high-impact role at the heart of Big Sister. You’ll lead our marketing, lead generation, and onboarding strategy — owning the full lifecycle from first point of contact to signed-up business. You’ll be the go-to person for getting people excited about Big Sister, nurturing them through the journey, and ensuring the businesses we invest in meet our standards.

You’ll work directly with Jill (Your Big Sister) to build a process that’s efficient, warm, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation– Create and execute strategies to generate cold and warm leads across multiple channels
  • Marketing campaigns– Plan and deliver bold, creative campaigns that drive awareness and conversions
  • Social media management– Own the Big Sister social platforms and keep them active, inspiring, and engaging
  • Blog & content strategy– Maintain an active blog and resource section that speaks to our audience and builds trust
  • Inbound lead management– Nurture incoming enquiries and convert interest into applications
  • Application & due diligence process– Manage each stage of the application journey, ensuring clear communication and thorough checks
  • Onboarding support– Work closely with Jill to deliver a seamless and impactful onboarding experience
  • KPI ownership– Be accountable for business onboarding targets:
  • 15 businesses in Year 1
  • 50 businesses in Year 2
  • 100 businesses in Year 3
    • Reporting & insights– Track performance, gather data, and continuously improv the marketing funnel
    • Performance tracking
  • Monitor KPIs and optimise campaigns for reach and conversion
  • Provide regular reports on partner growth and engagement
  • Attend monthly strategy meetings with the wider project team

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Energetic and focused, with a natural ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep momentum going
  • Strategic and creative, with proven experience building and executing campaigns that get results
  • People-savvy, confident on the phone, and able to build trust quickly with potential partners
  • Organised and proactive, able to forward plan and keep projects moving without handholding
  • Hungry for impact, with a strong work ethic and a “let’s make it happen” attitude

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field (marketing, project management, sales, customer success)
  • Demonstrable experience generating leads and managing campaigns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using digital marketing tools and CRM systems
  • Experience managing application or onboarding pipelines is a plus
  • A genuine interest in care, entrepreneurship, or social impact is a bonus
  • Although the role is remote, you will be expected to travel to meetings as needed, often on short notice, so a full driver’s license and access to your own car is essential

What We Offer

  • £40,000 annual salary
  • Remote-first role (UK-based)
  • Supportive leadership
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a mission-driven business with national ambition
  • The chance to make a difference to the future of care in the UK
