Care tender alerts for UK care providers
Three contracts worth bidding for, in your region, twice a week. Free.
Public sector care contracts are published across dozens of portals, in inconsistent formats, often with only a few weeks to respond. Most providers find out about the good ones too late — or never at all.
Our opportunity trackers read what is published across England, Scotland and Wales every day. Twice a week we send you the three opportunities worth your time in your region, with the contract value, the buyer, the closing date, and a straight answer on whether it suits a provider like you.
It takes two minutes to read and costs nothing.
What’s in every bulletin
Only your region. Eight separate editions. You get the North East, or London, or the Midlands — not a national list you have to sift through.
The numbers up front. Contract value, lot structure, commissioning body and closing date, so you can decide in seconds whether to look further.
Our team says who each contract genuinely suits, and flags when a large headline value hides lots that a smaller provider will never win.
Someone to ask. Every opportunity comes with a direct line to a bid consultant. No obligation, and no sales sequence if you use it.

Who it’s for
The bulletin is written for registered managers and owner-operators — people running one service or a dozen, who don’t have a bid team and can’t spend an evening trawling tender portals.
It covers domiciliary and home care, supported living, residential and nursing homes, live-in care, complex care and healthcare staffing.
If you have never bid for a public contract before, it’s a reasonable place to start: you’ll see what comes to market in your area, what it’s worth, and what buyers are asking for, before you commit to anything.
Why we send it
Big Sister exists to help care providers win work. Our bid team has supported more than 500 care providers and worked on contracts worth over £5 billion.
The bulletin is free because a proportion of readers eventually want help writing a bid, and that is how we earn our living. There is no trial, no paywall, and no upgrade prompt. If you only ever use it to keep an eye on your local market, that’s a perfectly good outcome.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no trial that turns into a subscription and no premium tier.
How often will you email me?
Twice a week — a full bulletin early in the week and a shorter note on closing deadlines later in the week. Nothing else unless you ask.
Can I change my region or service type later?
Yes. Every email has a link to update your preferences, and you can unsubscribe in one click.
Will you share my details with anyone?
No. We don’t sell, share or rent subscriber data.
What if I want help with one of the bids?
Every opportunity in the bulletin includes a way to speak to a consultant. You can also ask a single question about a specific bid without committing to anything — many readers use that to decide whether it’s worth their time.
Do I need to be an established provider?
No. We work with providers at every stage, including those who have just registered.
